“We promised each other to always be honest, to support one another, and to stand by each other no matter what.”

When it came time to plan their wedding, Sahel knew exactly what feeling she wanted the day to hold.

“We wanted our wedding day to feel deeply romantic and truly reflect the love we share.”

But beyond romance, there was something equally important: honoring her Iranian heritage.

Being an Iranian bride meant that every detail carried meaning. From the flowers and candles to the sacred traditions woven throughout the ceremony, the celebration became a reflection of identity, culture,

“Having a Sofreh Aghd was a must for me,” she explains. “Every element represents love, unity, and family.”

For Sahel, these traditions didn’t just add beauty, they added depth. They connected generations, culture, and history into the beginning of a new marriage.

Even the most carefully planned wedding days hold moments that no one could ever script.

For Sahel, the most emotional moment happened just before she walked down the aisle.

“I truly felt magical.”

Marriage, Sahel says, has brought a new brightness into her life.

“Since saying ‘I do,’ life has felt fuller, brighter, and more joyful,” she says. “Every day with my partner feels like a new adventure.”
