For Carsen Moore, life has been shaped by movement. From growing up in the waterfront town of Gig Harbor, Washington, to living in Hawaii, Iowa, Alaska, and now California, every place has left its mark.

"I've been fortunate enough to live in Hawaii, Iowa, Alaska, and now California. Each place has shaped me in different ways and given me a greater appreciation to be on this earth."

Today, she continues that journey as a flight attendant, a career perfectly suited to someone who finds joy in discovering the world.

"Being able to explore the world, meet people from all walks of life, and experience different cultures is one of the greatest gifts of my career."

Travel has taught her adaptability, compassion, and gratitude, not only for extraordinary places but also for ordinary moments.

The day before the proposal, she and her fiancé had gone horseback riding along the beach. Unknown to her, he quietly noticed a secluded stretch of shoreline and decided that was where he wanted to ask her to marry him.

The next day, he brought her back.

"With nothing but the ocean, the sound of the waves, and the two of us, he got down on one knee. It was so intimate, thoughtful, and completely us."

She describes feeling overwhelmed, not with surprise alone, but with gratitude.

"It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever."

Even now, every compliment she receives on her engagement ring brings her back to that exact moment.

"Every day I have someone comment on my beautiful ring, and I get to relive that excitement again and again."

Choosing What Matters Most

While many brides imagine grand celebrations, Carsen has always envisioned something much quieter and more intentional. Rather than a large wedding, she and her fiancé dream of returning to Alaska, the place where they first met, to exchange vows surrounded by mountains. For them, the beauty of the day isn't found in the size of the celebration but in the meaning behind it.

"Most girls dream of having a big wedding, but I never really imagined that for myself."

As they plan their elopement, they're embracing a celebration that feels timeless, romantic, and deeply personal. "We love the idea of stripping away the pressure of a big wedding and focusing on what truly matters. We want the day to feel peaceful, authentic, and completely true to us.”
